Minecraft Camp
“I was in the Minecraft coding camp. There were many people that I got to play Minecraft with, and I learned how to code different Minecraft things. I loved playing with the new friends I had made. I got some help with the coding but then I did my own coding. it was a fun experience, and I would love to do it again. Thank you!”
Fine Arts Camp
“I attended Fine Arts Camp and studied Jazz. I absolutely loved my time at this camp! I met kids with similar interests and future plans as me. adults helped me have difficult conversations about where to go for secondary education and how to make a living as a musician. It truly opened my eyes to many learning experiences.”
Band Camp
“I was able to attend Band Camp. At camp I learned to talk to people and made a friend. Now that I know how to start conversations, I can make more friends when in a new class. I also became a better clarinet player. I learned more things in one week than I could in even a year and had the most fun that I ever had in a week.”
Fine Arts Camps
“It was a great experience, from the people there to the different projects we did. Everyone was so different and creative and made you feel welcomed. My favorite part was getting to stay in the dorms and eat in the dining halls because it gave me more of a college experience. I am extremely grateful and would do it again if I had the chance. Mixed Martial Arts
“Thank you for the scholarship I was able to award to a student who works hard every day both at school and in his personal life. The last few years have been difficult and his struggles at times weigh him down. Your scholarship allowed him the freedom to enjoy something he had an interest in without the burden of financial stress. He learned a lot about himself and the sport of MMA. At times I think it was harder than he imagined, however I believe it did teach him about time management, physical health, and mental wellness.”
engineering camp
I’m pretty shy, but the camp was amazing because I met new friends who just got me—now we even have a group chat with 10 people! The camp also helped me figure out my future. We learned all this cool stuff about engineering, like how binary code works and how civil engineers design traffic lights. It was so interesting that I realized I want to be a computer science engineer! I’m super happy I got the chance to figure out where to start my career path.
cheerleading camp
“Youth Life Builders helped provide me with the opportunity to attend a cheerleading camp. The cheerleading camp was an excellent experience for me! (IT) gave me the opportunity to do what I love the most. It was also a great team bonding experience before the season started. The members who came from UCA Cheer helped teach my teammates and me stunts. This is something I have always wanted to do, and it helped me become one of the flyers for our team. I couldn’t have done it without the help of this organization. It was an amazing opportunity, I had such a great time, and I hope to be able to do it again in the future.”
